Why Witches and Wolves…
I have been fascinated by wolves since I was in kindergarten and used to dream about what it would be like to be one, thus the story idea for the book. I enjoy reading anything that has supernatural elements like magic, witches, vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and otherworldly beings. I spent a good deal of time researching this book and found that throughout history many stories about witches, wolves, and/or werewolves can be found in every region on this earth.
My obsession with wolves began when I traveled to New Mexico and went to the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. The very idea of being close to the wolves and listening to their magnificent howls was incredible. The Howling Franchise and the Underworld Series are by far my favorite movies in this genre, so, it was important to create a story that somewhat kept in line with this but added some nuances and originality not previously done before.
I also wanted my story to have relatable characters and how they deal with conflict, self-discovery, acceptance, isolation, and love, but without the gore and horror. Hopefully, I have accomplished this with The Order of the Wolf: Species Chronicles Series.
Synopsis Book One: Lineage
A secret society of witches and the wolf-human hybrids they protect. The remnants of a scientist’s notebook and a mysterious journal written in Italian. A strange elixir discovered and the disappearance of a beloved great aunt. But how are they all connected? Follow Toni Luello as she embarks upon a supernatural journey to find the answers.
Toni’s life abruptly changes the moment she takes ownership of her great aunt Elena’s cottage, and after an unusual encounter, while exploring a nearby river basin, Toni begins to have hallucinations and extraordinary dreams that seem all too real.

Synopsis Book Two: Covenant
In thinking she has finally unlocked the secrets of the Order of the Wolf’s mission and her witchcraft lineage; all is not well in Toni Luello’s world. Losing Regan, her lover, was not on the agenda, but that loss was just a start as more secrets and half-truths come to light.
After learning about the Mythological Origins of her existence from her grandmother Elena, and a warning about an archaic organization called the Covenant, whose members can see ‘that which is unseen’ and possess medallions imbued with mystical properties, Toni pieces together her true purpose.
New allies, old enemies, and the questionable actions of those closest to Toni disrupt her quest to unite any remaining members of the Order of the Wolf with their supernatural brethren.
Follow Toni as she continues her journey as one of the blessed, a subspecies of wolf-human shapeshifters, and the last of her kind, if the prophecy holds. Who can she trust?
